This year, we have had the great joy of working with Waddesdon Manor, a National Trust property and family home of Baron Rothschild, in the design and painting of a bespoke bauble for sale in their house shop. Many of you may recognise the property as the hopeful family home of Downton Abbey’s Lady Crawley and Richard Carlisle; a Renaissance Revival mansion sitting in a landscaped parkland in Buckinghamshire. Putting aside from the sheer amount of architectural detail on this palatial home, it could only have been a treat to design and paint… and it really was.

Depicting Father Christmas walking up the majestic drive to the main house, in readiness to explore the many treasures within. A gift for those inside as well as for Father C!

The bauble will be available from The Waddesdon Manor shop.
